Woodgrain Fridge

Jeff and I have 2 mini fridges in our basement and a mini freezer.  I saw this on Delightfully Tacky today and love it!  I could have my own little collection of woodgrain contact paper fridges!

The sounds of heaven...in two year old form.

Shelley inspired me to jot down all the wonderful words my baby is saying.  She went from not talking at all to talking in short sentences.  Jeremy was the same way.  Both slow talkers, but once they started, well you know the deal.  I wish I could remember more right now, but this is the daily stuff.

Nana:  The beloved pacifier that only mommy and daddy give her.  She doesn't take one at daycare, we however cave at the first whine.  In my defense, she is a Schleicher, and is really loud.
Where Papa?  She says this all day every day...even in the middle of the night when she wakes up crying and we are trying to convince her to go back to sleep.
Wat dat? Every day, all day, about everything.
woweece wah:  Police car (we see them daily in the hood)
did it.
wook it mommy.
nit noun: sit down
way wif me mommy, way wown wif me.
uppy mommy: this was one of Jeremy's regulars too.
Bubba bite, KC bite me  (she is a story teller, usually this is NOT true, she has also been known to bite herself)
tandy: Candy, one of the words she says really good!
Wubba it me: Bubba hit me (typically this happens after Bubba has been hit numerous times by her, he really has shown a great deal of self control.)
Ansh Jooosh: Orange Juice
Ah foostee:  I'm thirsty

Character traits:  Currently Sammy is a bit of a tattle tale.  She comes running in with so much gusto wrist cocked finger pointed and she will rat you out quicker than you can say tandy (candy).  You could also find this child in a corner eating her way through a candy bar...think Dava Carvey-Saturday Night Live.

Jeremy is a lover, a sweet soul, and the Michael Jordan of trains...and crafting.

No one was harmed in these photos.  Just keepin it real.

Finally, Stacey's wedding, might want to grab a tissue.

The Aunt and Uncle, professional gift givers...of fart machines, and really good books.

Jeremy and Izzy, I think she is giving him the brush off.
Sweet baby girl.  I love this child!
I love this picture.  Best Grandma ever.  Jeremy was looking over my shoulder and pointed to her and said "I like her".  I said who, he said "her, Grandma Jones...I like her".  I do too buddy.
The rest of the photos are here

Halloween 2010

My superhero and his sidekick.  He was a power ranger last year too.  We did buy a new costume (a skeleton) but the power ranger won.   Click here for the rest of the mayhem.

Bad Blogger

As one of my Resolutions, I am really going to try to update this regularly.  It's always in the forefront of my mind, but next thing you know I find myself in laundry, or catching up on my Y and R, or eating a box of cookies.  Yes, I watch it 5 days a week, and no I cannot have just one cookie, one box yes.

As another resolution, I want to dive in on my laundry list of creative activities.  I found two online that totally inspired me.  I figure if put stuff out there...to my two readers...that's you Shelley and Jeremy, then maybe I will actually accomplish a little something, and become a little less self consious about this stuff.

I really want to do this map project for my kids room, but it also inspired me to make similar stuff using recycled materials.

I found both of these projects on one of my daily reads: http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Next, I really am going to post pics from Stacey's wedding, and some pictures of the chalkboard wall I promised Shelley months ago.  But that will have to wait for another day!
